Warzone 2.0 will be released on the same day as the Season 1 of MW2 drops. The event was not on the Call of Duty Next scale, so the invited individuals who got a chance to live stream Warzone 2.0 and DMZ were limited. However, @ModernWarzone was lucky enough to be a part of the event and update the fans through Twitter about some really exciting things Warzone 2.0 offers. One of them is Tactical Nukes, which will be available in the game. However, it was unclear how a match-ending perk would work in a Battle Royal environment. But ModernWarfare further clarified that it does not like the traditional COD Nukes you get due to a high kill streak.
— ModernWarzone (@ModernWarzone) November 10, 2022 In contrast, in Warzone 2.0, you will have to complete a special contract to obtain one, and the contract is not that easy to complete, and on top of that the special contract or task will not be available in every other match. Call of Duty Tactical Nukes were first introduced in Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and since has been an essential part of many Call of Duty games in the Multiplayer mode but they were never imagined to be integrated with the Battle Royal play style. They are considered to be the game finishers, once you get your hands on one after a 25-30 kill streak without getting knocked out in between, you can just activate the nuclear bomb and wipe out every enemy on the map from existence, and that is how we know the nukes, and they have always been like that. However, it is still exciting that Activision and Infinity Ward have pulled something like this and integrated something like Nukes into a Battle Royal game.
